As part of the ERC METAL project, researchers from the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP) are collaborating with Nu Instruments to push the boundaries of isotopic analysis. Using high-precision mass spectrometry, this collaboration enables the exploration of planetary formation processes with unprecedented accuracy. Nu Instruments’ devices, such as the multi-collector ICP-MS, play a crucial role in characterizing the isotopes used to study the differentiation of celestial bodies.
