Linru Fang’s PhD Defense and Post-Doctoral Journey

Linru Fang with her jury and colleagues after defending her PhD thesis on the origin and evolution of the first asteroids.

Congratulations to Dr. Linru Fang for successfully defending her PhD thesis entitled “Origin and Evolution of the First Asteroids.” This groundbreaking work provides valuable insights into the early formation and development of asteroids, a key component in understanding planetary formation within our solar system. Her research focuses on isotopic compositions, helping to trace the processes that shaped these celestial bodies from their beginnings.

Following this accomplishment, Dr. Fang embarks on a new chapter as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen within the StarPlan group, part of the Globe Institute. This prestigious group is dedicated to studying the formation and evolution of planetary systems, offering Dr. Fang a unique opportunity to further her research on planetary bodies and continue her scientific journey in collaboration with leading experts in the field.
